This scale has 11 tones of gray varying since the pure white to the pure black with 10% increments.

In order to correctly calibrate your monitor you should adjust the brightness and the contrast in order to be able to visualize it and to differentiate the 11 tonalities.

The black and the white in the extremities must remain the purest possible.
